My university has asked me to complete an assignment, how do I do this?

If you’ve been asked to complete an assignment as part of your funding application, here’s how to make sure you’re on top of it.

You’ll receive an email to advise that you have an assignment to complete as part of your funding application.

Once you log into your Blackbullion account, there are two ways you can access your assignments. The first way you can access your assignments is through a banner at the top of the screen showing you which pieces of learning you need to complete and a passmark to achieve for your assignment.

The second way you can access your assignments is by heading to “My Applications”. Next to the application which your university has asked you to complete an assignment for, you will see a purple button which says “Complete application”.

If you click this button, you will be taken into the application and shown which assignments you need to complete.

In order to complete the assignment, you will need to complete the full pathway, including the final quiz. You may also be required to reach a certain score in the final quiz, please check your assignment for any additional details requested by your university/college.

If you’re short on time, you can start the assignment and come back to it later; your progress will be saved.

Once you complete the assignment, the banner will disappear and the status of your application will change from ‘assignment given’ to ‘awaiting review’.
